Most people don't know how to handle success
If you just had a big win, do this:
When it comes to success, winning is only the beginning.
It's great to achieve a victory, to taste success, and to know that all the hard work has paid off.
But it's what we do after we win that counts.
Do we rest on our laurels and become complacent? Or do we continue working hard, staying humble and hungry for more?
It's so easy to become complacent after a win.
We think we can show up and achieve the same result, forgetting all the effort, determination, and mindset it took to win in the first place.
But this is not how successful people operate.
Successful people know that winning is only the beginning.
They know they need to continue working hard after they win to stay on top.
This is why I'm such a big believer in setting goals.
After you achieve a goal, you set a new one and continue working hard towards it.
This way, you're always reaching for something new, always striving for more. You're never content with just one victory.
And this is why I'm also such a big believer in continuing to work hard after you win.
When you achieve a goal, don't rest on your laurels – set a new one and keep working hard!
I believe that it's essential to turn the euphoria of winning into a fire of burning desire that fuels your continuous improvement, passion, and quest for excellence.
You must remember that the only way to stay on top is to keep working harder than everyone else.
When I landed my first significant speaking engagement, I didn't just take it easy; I worked even harder to ensure that I did an excellent job and received another invite
After the speaking job was a success, I didn't slow down and rest; I put in more work to be better next time
The bottom line is that you can't slow down.
You have to keep working harder than everyone else to continue winning.
