๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค” which wahhabis are u talking about?
r u talking about Umar ibn Khattab (RA) the one who prevented the people of susa from seeking help (istighatha) on the grave of Prophet Daniel AS?
here r the authentic narrations
Imam Bayhaqi mentioned it in Dala'il An Nubuwwah 1/381
Imam Ibn Kathiir authenticated this and mentioned it in the stories of the prophets in bidayah wa'n nihayah 2/332
And also ibn Kathiir mentioned another authentic narration of Anas ibn malik RA that talks about the description of prophet daniel ุนู„ูŠู‡ ุงู„ุณู„ุงู… . This narration of anas is mentioned in Musannaf ibn Abi Shaybah 4/7
And also in the same book and the same page , there is another authentic narration narrated by Mutarrif ibn Malik (RA)
Imam Ibn abdul Hadi Al Maqdisi Al hanbali gave out a very beautiful point about this same topic in his book al-Sarim al-Munki fi al-Radd ala al-Subki page 170
Imam ibn Qayyim al Jawziyyah also gave out another beautiful point about this same topic in his book Ighathah al-Lahhufan fi Masayid al-Shaytan 1/203 and 204
Shaykul Islam ibn Taymiyyah also gave out a beautiful point about the same topic in his book Majmu al-Fatawa 15/154
The same shaykh also gave out another beautiful point about this same topic. He said:
The Companions denied and rejected the act of these people (i.e seeking the dead personโ€™s blessings and intercession and glorifying him after his death)...
Thereupon, whosoever goes to a certain Place seeking its blessings, This is Rejected in Islam and is prohibited as well.

or even the time when his great grandson Umar Ibn Abdul Aziz (RA) destroyed the house of Aisha RA and that includes dismantling the graves of the prophet (SAW), Abu Bakr RA and Umar RA and built a wall because he feared that the people would take it as a place of worship.
The big question is that Are they ie. Umar ibn Khattab and Umar Ibn Abdul Aziz Wahhabis?
Do u accuse them for preventing the people from seeking help (Istighatha) from the dead?
