We jumped from $25,000 MRR to $32,000 in less than 6 months.
... After being stuck for a few months.
Here is how we did it.

In January I set up a goal for 2022. As we were stuck at $25,000.
I wanted to break this ceiling and to do that we had to define clear goals.
We fixed the primary goal.
Then we broke down this goal into 5 sub-goals. Making the main goal easier to reach.
Then we broke it down for each sub-goal into actions we'd have to take.
That way we knew exactly where we were going and what we had to do.
Then you have to keep this plan to make it work.
To break a ceiling you have to do things you weren't already doing.
Because "to get results you don't have, you have to do things you don't do"
So our target mainly was:
โ€ข Reducing churn (that was super high)
โ€ข Doubling down on what was already working
โ€ข Increasing ARPU (Average Revenue Per User)
To help me with that I had to hire someone.
So Nico joined the team to help me reach these goals.
His main focus was marketing
His first job was to reduce the churn.
We did these in 3 phases:
โ€ข Understanding why people leave
โ€ข Doing calls with current users to understand where is the friction
โ€ข Improving the app/dashboard based on that
And it worked well! We're still improving it but we've reduced churn by 6%!
Then Nico's job was focused on marketing.
What worked well for us was:
โ€ข Improving the App Store Listing
โ€ข Doing App Partnerships
โ€ข Doing Influencers Affiliate Marketing
So guess what Nico did?
All 3!
In a few months we went from 3 partnerships to 15+
We ran new campaigns with influencers, we even created courses on how to use our apps.
And Nico improved our app listing conversion by 5%
Thanks to these improvements we're back on growth!
