If I was doing CRO for CRAFTD (@thedannybuck)
Here's a few changes I would test on their PDP:
@thedannybuck Firstly, go and follow @thedannybuck
One of my favourite accounts on Twitter sharing his knowledge and experiences building the 15th fastest growing company in the UK
(Shame he tweets too much about United ๐Ÿ™„)
@thedannybuck Let's get into it:
The overall theme for this redesign was bringing key info. ATF
- Product Benefits
- Shipping Policies
- USPs
Traffic on mobile devices typically have a lower attention span so the aim of this is to reduce the bounce rate.
@thedannybuck We've added stickers to the product image to highlight the key product benefits immediately.
Users shouldn't have to find reasons to buy your product
You should slap those reasons in their face!
@thedannybuck A few subtle changes we've made were:
- Anchoring financing options to the products price
- Removing the dynamic checkout button to free up page space and avoid friction
@thedannybuck The next major change we made was adding a 'Fair Pricing' link alongside the product's price.
Craftd sell premium quality items at a fraction of the price of designer brands
BUT users unfamiliar with the brand and quality may perceive the prices as expensive w/out that context.
@thedannybuck This link will not redirect to a new page but simply a small pop-up explaining the pricing in more detail.
All these changes above have allowed us to show the shipping/return policies ATF as well.
Again, helping us overcome any objections a user may have!
@thedannybuck As with all recommendations we make, these changes need to be split tested
But based on our experience and prev. results I am confident these will all have a positive impact.
