Storytelling.
One of the most powerful skills you must learn
I created a guide for you, take 1m of your time
1. Create curiosity
Something that... doesn't make sense at the beginning
"How a dog almost killed me"
"I didn't believe in magic, until..."
Create curiosity and let your imagination flow
Sometimes, it may sound dumb
but...
Don't be afraid to clickbait
2. Important decisions
Create a story about a decision you took and changed your life
Without that ONE SINGLE decision, your life could've been very different
People like binary stories.
It's nothing or everything!
Remember that.
3. Moments full of tension
I'll use @wrongstowrite as an example here
In his newsletter (to which I recommend subscribing)
He used this formula - a title that sounds full of suspense
We, people, are very curious beings
If something happens, we have to know every detail
4. Risky scenarios
When your protagonist has everything and losses
That's one hell of a story
When there's nothing to lose
The story becomes boring
β€œThe cat sat on a mat is not a story. The cat sat on the dog’s mat is a story.” β€” John le CarrΓ©

5. Stay here.
Your audience will feel... like they are part of the story
When you go too far from the present moment they will disconnect
This way you'll lose engagement.
