This is big for 2 reasons, probably the most important thing to look for
Selling things faster means more sales for you - obvious win

If a listing sells quickly, and the price starts to drop
You can get out much faster - before the price drops to a negative profit
Compare that to a slow-selling product
The price starts dropping, others will react, but low demand won't stop the price falling

A product that is profitable today might not have been for the last 364 days
Reference the 30 & 90 day average buy box price - you can see this with SellerAmp
If you are also profitable at those average prices, your item is much more likely to stay good

3/ Seller Count
Some brands heavily control their Amazon listings, others let us run wild
Make sure the item you buy:
-Has 3 or more sellers (generally)
-Isn't sold by Amazon
-Isn't sold by the brand themselves

4/ Hazmat
Use a tool like SellerAmp while you are sourcing to check and make sure it's not hazardous
These products take extra approval - easier places to start if you're just getting going

Make sure you're authorized to sell the product on Amazon
If you have never sold a brand before it could be "gated" to your account
Buy the item from a wholesale distributor, upload the invoice, and you'll be good to go
