I've used LinkedIn to book 160+ bookings a month.
While 95% of people are using awful connection message templates...
My team and I figured out 10+ strategies that work.
Here are 3 of them you can steal:
1/ Mutual Group
Building trust 101: have something in common with the person.
If you're in the same LinkedIn/Facebook group as someone else...
Use the template below.
Message 1.
“Hi {first_name},
I noticed your profile and wanted to reach out as I see we are both members of {name of the group}
I guess we have growth in common.
Love it!
Let’s connect,
Stefan”
Follow-up 1.
When to send: 1 day after the connection request was accepted
What to send: Tell them about what you're working on.
Call-to-action: Interest/Feedback CTA
Follow-up 2.
When to send: 5 days after no reaction on the first follow-up.
What to send: Call for interest question.
Here are the results we had with this strategy:
• 72% acceptance rate.
• 49% response to follow-ups.
• 42 booked demos.
2/ Content retargeting
Question: What's the best way to know someone will be interested in your offer?
Answer: If they've already shown interest in similar topics
This is one of my favorite strategies.
Here's what you have to do:
1. Find a significant LinkedIn influencer in your niche.
2- Find a viral post they made with lots of comments and likes.
3. Scrape everyone who liked and commented, and reach out to them using @expandi_io.
@expandi_io Message 1.
“Hi {first_name},
Saw you also liked the {topic} post by {creator}. I guess we have growth in common.
Love it!
Let’s connect,
Stefan”
@expandi_io Follow-up 1.
When to send: 1 day after the connection request was accepted
What to send: Short question about the post. Something that was valuable to you and might be for them as well.
Call-to-action: A valuable deliver
@expandi_io Follow-up 2.
When to send: 7 days after no reaction on follow-up 1.
What to send: Question if the person had the chance to go over what you've sent them.
@expandi_io Here are the results we had with this strategy:
• 72% acceptance rate.
• 40% response to follow-ups.
@expandi_io 3/ Comment-to-receive offer
You've seen people doing this on Twitter.
"Comment and retweet and I'll send you XYZ for free"
Guess what?
It also works on LinkedIn.
@expandi_io The strategy is simple:
Create a post with a benefit-driven headline and a call-to-action like this:
"Comment bellow and I'll send you CYZ for free"
Then here's what you do...
@expandi_io Message 1.
“Heyo {first_name},
I saw your comment on my post about {topic}.
Would love to connect so I can send you the PDF. :-)”
@expandi_io If they're already connected with you, send this:
“Heyo {first_name}, I saw you comment on my post about {topic}.
Here's your free PDF: {file}”
@expandi_io Results:
• 80.2% acceptance rate
