Many want us to believe British Raj in India was good for Indians, after all they build railways, gave english education & laws, Right?
In reality ATROCITIES carried out by Britishers were unimaginable.

1. Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, 1919
Protestors were blocked inside Jallianwala Gardens & fired upon for 10 mins by soldiers on order of Brigadier Reginald Dyer, killing 1,000 protesters within 10 minutes.
Dyer was lauded β€œhero” by British public awarded Β£26,000 as a thank you.

2. Famines in India
12 to 29 million Indians died of starvation because millions of tons of wheat was exported to Britain.
In 1943, four million Bengalis starved to death when Winston Churchill diverted food to Europe during a deadly famine.

3. Talking about the Bengal famine in 1943, Churchill said: β€œI hate Indians. They are a beastly people with a beastly religion. The famine was their own fault for breeding like rabbits.”

4. Slavery In India
Though British deny they enslaved Indians, as an Indian we laugh at this claim.
British Raj DELIBERATELY caused many famines in 1976, Gunter 1832, Orissa 1866 etc where MILLIONS died & starvation resulted planned mass exodus to foreign lands as labourers.
5. Atrocities on Indian women:
It is well known that any Indian women noticed by British rulers could hardly escape without being raped. Many were forcefully made prostitutes.
Even Rape laws were made by Britishers to save officers lawfully.

6. Economic Loot
British rule destroyed indian local hand loom industry to fund its own industrialization.
India started sending cotton & other raw materials to U.K & finished products were sent back to India and shipped to other parts of the world.

7. In 18 century India's share of world economy was 23%, as large as all of Europe put together, but by time British were out of India in 1947, it had dropped to less than 4%.

8. Indian Railways: "Dogs and Indians not allowed"
Construction of railways was carried out to benefit the British empire and help with "the commerce, government and military control of INDIA."
The country wide railroad was paid for by Indian taxpayers.
9. By building railways British colonisers were only interested in exploiting India's natural resources.
They transported items such as coal, iron ore, cotton and other natural resources to ports for the British to ship home to use in their factories.

10. Partition of India
After decades of using divide and rule policy British upon exit gave a big blow to the country.
In 1947, Cyril Radcliffe who was tasked with creation of border between India and newly created state of Pakistan did it over course of a single lunch.

11. India was split along religious lines, uprooting over 10 million people, Hindus in Pakistan & Muslims in India were forced to escape their homes as situation descended into violence.
Estimates suggest up to one million people lost their lives in sectarian killings.

Maybe protocols demands STATE to mourn for QUEEN. But we should never forget our HISTORY, British monarch represents centuries of persecution of our ancestors.πŸ™
