4. Search for Programs. Make sure you choose a program that shows your career progression. Otherwise the visa Officer may not be convinced that you are a genuine student.
5. You can go for a masters,PGD, post graduate certificate, they all have the same immigration benefits

6. Submit your application for admission and wait for decision.

10. Submit your study permit application and wait for biometrics letter, takes usually 24 hours.
11. Download your biometrics letter from your IRCC portal and go and do your biometrics ASAP. Biometrics is done at Visa application centres, like VFS Nigeria.

12. After your biometrics, wait for IRCC decision on your application. Usually takes a couple of months, 1 to 5 months, or in some cases takes 2 to 3 weeks, like in my own case lol.
13. If approved, your passport will be requested for visa stamp.

14. If refused, do not give up. Figure out the refusal reasons. If possible request for GCMS note to know the exact reasons for refusal. Take corrections and apply again, until you get approved.
