Managing a Twitter account is tough,
That's why Social Media Managers are in huge demand.
But all it takes is a system that works.
These 7 tips will help you form a system that will 10x your growth on Twitter.
A Thread🧡...
Having a system that streamlines your content creation process is a must nowadays.
A System is nothing but a series of activities you do to complete a particular task.
Which in our case is writing content regularly.
Alright, let's get straight to it.
1) Comment Sessions:
If you are one of those who randomly open Twitter at any time to comment, you are doing it wrong.
You need Comment Sessions.
Comment Sessions are small time blocks in your schedule that you use only for commenting.
I have 3 comment sessions:
β€’ One for my followers,
β€’ One for engaging with big accounts &
β€’ One for flirting with random chicks online
Just kidding🀭 3rd is for catching up with comments left unanswered at the end of the day.
2) No. of Comments:
Everyone comments but no one know how many comments are enough.
Neither did I until I listened to a podcast that interviewed the Chad of Twitter @WrongsToWrite
@WrongsToWrite Dakota said:
Many people say 10-20 comments are enough.
No, those are rookie numbers you have to pump them up.
You should aim for at least 30 comments but the ideal aim should be 60 comments daily.
@WrongsToWrite 3) Content Creation:
3 Tweets per day + 2 Threads per week.
This is the minimum passing criteria.
Might look easy but tough to follow consistently.
@WrongsToWrite Think of it as Dakota thinks-
"If you don't show up every day, it's like your dick falls off or something"πŸ˜‚
Most people are exhausted with these 3 tips,
But if you got more in you then keep reading...
@WrongsToWrite 4) Make a basic framework:
A ritual that I follow is before I actually sit down to write my threads,
I build a basic framework in my notes app.
@WrongsToWrite What I do is, a week before I have to publish a thread,
I take a blank note & whenever I came across a new point I write it down in my notes app.
So at the end of the week, I have enough points to get started.
@WrongsToWrite 5) Use Lists:
Lists are one of the most underutilized but the most badass feature of Twitter.
Every creator should make at least 2 lists:
β€’ One that includes the big accounts &
β€’ Another for small accounts
@WrongsToWrite Use the 1st list to get eyes on your content &
The 2nd list to form deep meaningful friendships.
By the way, I'm writing a thread on how to get the most out of Lists,
So if you're not following me, DO IT.
@WrongsToWrite 6) Golden Point:
Never decide in advance the no. of points you want in your thread.
This will help you come up with more points than you actually need.
@WrongsToWrite So after you have finished your thread with the required points,
you can convert the remaining points into tweets & schedule them over the next week.
@WrongsToWrite 7) Final Touch:
Before you hit publish, always make a point to skim through your thread in order to structure it properly.
Break those chunky paras & finally run it through the Hemingway Editor.
This final touch can make or break your thread.
@WrongsToWrite SUMMARY TIME:
1) Comment Sessions
2) No. of Comments
3) Content Creation
4) Make a basic framework
5) Use Lists
6) Golden Point
7) Final Touch
