I’m still doing sales for my $120k/mo agency.
I take 10+ sales calls every month.
Here’s how I handle 7 of the most common objections:
Objection: "Let me think about it"
How to handle:
“Sure, thing! These decisions take time and I want you to be comfortable with them.
Let's schedule a call next week on {{date}} at around {{time}}.
Looking forward to talking to you then.”
Objection: "Not interested"
How to handle:
“I totally understand! Why don't we get on a call this week to discuss a couple of ideas so that we can collaborate on something?”
Objection: “What's your guarantee?"
How to handle:
“We can't guarantee you'll get {{results}} because that's dependent on other factors such as how you use our system.
Why don't I help you out and show you how the model works and how our clients are able to get {{results}}?”
Objection: “I don’t need this yet"
How to handle:
“That's alright, I understand {{name}}.
May I know if {{question that you can fix with your solution}}?”
Objection: ""How much does it cost?""
How to handle:
“That depends on what package we're looking at.
I can't give you anything definite until I get on a call with you to check on your needs.
Don't worry, pricing does start at {{min price}}.
Would you be free on {{date}}?”
Objection: I heard that *your competitor" is doing this..."
How to handle:
“That's true, they're doing a good job with {{competitor’s product}}.
But the way we go about it is a little more different with our product, we make sure that {{how your product is superior}}.”
Objection: "I'll keep in touch"
How to handle:
"That sounds great, do you think you'll be ready in the next quarter/half/month?”
(wait for them to respond)
“May I ask how do you feel/see the next {{time period}} going for you?”
