The latest @nichepursuits podcast with @Jamie_IF was πŸ”₯.
In it, Jamie explains his framework for intros.
I just sent this to my writers!
Thanks Jamie, for letting me also share it here...
@nichepursuits @Jamie_IF Every intro needs to include 5 things...
S - Search Intent
P - Pain Points
E - Expertise
A - Audience
R - Rapport
Let's take a deeper dive into each...
@nichepursuits @Jamie_IF 1. Search Intent
Include a statement of what the reader will learn and why they want to.
This reassures them that their query will be satisfied.
@nichepursuits @Jamie_IF 2. Pain Points
Acknowledge what problem you are solving, the reader’s feelings and their fear of making a mistake.
This is most important for buying guides - The fear of making a bad purchase is powerful!
@nichepursuits @Jamie_IF 3. Expertise
Mention your personal experience or what makes you qualified to advise on this topic.
This builds trust.
Try to infer it, but if you have to spell it out then do so.
@nichepursuits @Jamie_IF 4. Audience
Know exactly who the article is for.
What type of person?
If they have money, don't suggest cheap stuff and vice versa.
@nichepursuits @Jamie_IF 5. Rapport - Be likeable and interesting.
Create an emotional connection with the reader through evocative and emotional language.
This will make them want to read on.
