Yesterday, I asked what's stopping you from starting a niche site.
Many people shared this 1 reason: "I don't know which niche I should go with?"
Here's how you should tackle this 👇
[A thread]
First of all, stop overthinking about your niche.
You already know but are just confused about it.
If you have a lot of interest in XYZ's niche, just go for it.
The reason being: You know better about it than an average person who randomly enters your niche.
Why is this better?
- You can get content ideas faster
- You can write quality and unique content
- You can create different angles in your blog & stand out
- You can go on because of your motivation in the niche
The next point is about commercial interest
& whether you can get good display ad revenues or affiliate offers.
You can just start searching the following right away 👇
- Check how many companies have built businesses around it (for affiliate offers)
- Check search CPC (to get an idea about search ad competition)
- If there's any Amazon product related to it
- How many websites do you see on google related to it
Ofcourse, don't just get disappointed if you don't have checks on all 4 points.
I just gave you a rough idea about how you can find some ways to see what's happening in your niche.
The actual metric will be dependent after you start monetizing & eventually, you will understand
I see screenshots of people having $100 to $300 EPMVs too.
I get EPMVs of $15-$20. But I am not disappointed.
I know my niche well.
So it all boils down to one thing:
If you have enough interest and motivation to talk about your niche: Just go for it!
STOP OVERTHINKING & START EXECUTING!
This overthinking about your niche is just killing your time.
Time > Money!
