Owe it to shyness, low self-esteem or arrogance. It's common for people to want to live life in the shadows and blend in. But this can be detrimental to your relationships, finding your path, and getting opportunities.
The good thing is you don't need to be an extrovert to have a personality. Your storytelling skills and interests can do the trick.
Let's focus on the interest part a bit. We often get sucked into the "finding your passion" rabbit hole.

Comedians are expert storytellers. Notice how they always provide a background context and an element of relatability in their stories to try to reel you in.
