1. Normally negative energies will not enter just any space. They will mostly be in a particular space for a variety of reasons:
A: Either their physical remains or part of those are nearby.
B: They are called to a space by someone: classic is Planchette (not every time is real)

C: They are sent to a (enclosed) place.
Remember that an enclosed place is actually Akasha which has been circumscribed.
Akasha is unlimited whereas a place is limited by boundaries.
This last is extremely rare. I don’t think too many people alive who can do this now.

D: The enclosed space space is somewhere … a place of residence of those entities normally:
Typically a graveyard or Smashana. Many old churches have this feature… some apartments are built in such converted churches and that can be very interesting for those living there.

E: The most common is just a stupid thought due to a weak mind and there is actually NOTHING there at all. But due to lack of Brahmacharya (which is a powerful buffer) and lack of Sadhana especially Shareer bandhan kriya.. people imagine stuff. This is most common of all.
Now, the paranormal experience occurs when?
You as a person have to interact with the before mentioned enclosed space in a particular manner and at a “right/wrong time”
That’s when you might get that experience.

+ If you step into an enclosed space which is ruled or inhabited by these negative energies at a time (for example like today’s time of Kala Astami) then the energies are high and will call attention to themselves. Not that they will attack but like a stray dog barks in a street
If you have the requisite power, and they of course are able to recognise it right away… they will come and stand and bow before that particular person (eg: a Guru in my lineage - Loknath Tirth Swami ji)
