Reason why 'Swastika' symbol is mostly found in northern hemisphere is that it may have been a phenomenon noticed by people living nearer in northern part of earth.

It may have been an interesting thing for people in cold countries in Europe but it was irrelevant for them to use this as a calendar.
But warm continent like India, this phenomenon helped people forecast seasons ahead long ago

5/ This constellation system runs extra round in one year and the four arms replaces the seasons during 365 days. A very useful crude way of forecasting seasons long back.
