5 reasons to start before you feel ready:
1. Action leads to motivation
Many of us have got this mixed up.
We think we need motivation before we act.
When in fact it's the other way around.
Taking those first action steps builds momentum.
It creates a strong motivation inside us.
2. Experience is the best teacher
Imagine trying to learn how to ride a bike by reading about it in a book.
Sure, you might get a few useful pointers.
But you're going to hit the limit of what you can learn very quickly, without actually getting your ass on that bicycle seat.
3. Your plan will change as you go
Amazon started as a bookstore.
Netflix mailed people DVDs.
It's impossible to know the exact path your plan will take.
The sooner you get started, the sooner you can start overcoming the inevitable bumps in the road that you will encounter.
4. You will suck in the beginning
No amount of preparation will allow you to skip the inevitable "crap phase".
Get started now, be terrible for a while, and get it over with.
There is no avoiding it.
5. No one cares as much as you think
Too often, we let the opinions of others hold us back.
"What if l embarrass myself?"
"What if people see me fail?"
Sorry to break it to you, but no one thinks about you that much.
Accept this, and it will free you.
That's a wrap!
