HOW TO DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH ON ANY CRYPTO/NFT PROJECT
A Thread 🧡, Rt for others
Look before you leap for as you sow, ye are likely to reap - Samuel Butler
Looking before you leap is the main essence of research, so you won’t fall in to some rug or be investing blindly
Research is the collecting of information about a particular subject - Merriam Webster
Now how do you make research about crypto projects? Ride with me πŸ‘‡πŸΎ
1) Look for the project whitepaper: this consists of everything about any crypto/NFT project, the utility, supply, roadmap etc, the first step of making a research is to look for this whitepaper and digest it
- Who are the team behind this project?
A project is only relevant when it has an upright & a determined team, so once a team to a project is a good one, you can be less worried, your money is in safe hands. You can find the list of team members in the project whitepaper.
- What is the community saying about the project?
The foremost part of every crypto project is community, once the community has a good feeling about the project, it is MOSTLY a good one, a large number of people won’t vouch for rugs…
Most crypto Community can be found on Twitter, Discord or Telegram
- Tokenomics: What is the supply? What is the demand? Is there a burning mechanism? What is the token distribution like? All this questions are to be asked when it comes to tokenomics research
Who are the people backing this project or who are the people buying this project: If some whales are buying a particular project, you might want to get in too for quick gains cos it might lead to a rise in price. You have to be careful doing this tho, don’t get dumped on 🀝🏾
- Is this a long term or short term play? This is an important question to ask yourself after making your research. Don’t hold when you are supposed to sell and don’t sell when you are supposed to hold. You can’t be perfect tho but you can at least try 🫠
When it comes to crypto/NFT research, you can use @CoinMarketCal @CoinMarketCap @coingecko, defilama, Twitter, Binance academy, Google is your friend also πŸ˜‰
