THE FULL COLD EMAIL MASTERCLASS
Here's EVERYTHING you need to do, step-by-step, from buying a domain to signing your first client
If you can’t sit and study this you’re a lazy fck and deserve to stay poor

This is going to read similar to an SOP
It'll be a set of instructions of everything I do myself in my own agency from the first step of purchasing your domain, all the way to signing your first client
I am leaving no stone unturned
I shouldn't give this for free
1) Purchase your domain and email
Go to Google Domains and buy two domains
One will be for sending, one will be your primary
Buy more if you want more emails going out
If you want speed buy 5 with two email accounts each
Ripping about 400 emails a day
The Primary domain will be where you host your landing page with your VSL, offer, testimonials and case studies
You DO NOT want it burned
Setup your landing page and link it to the Primary domain
The second domain is going to be your sending domain
Use a suffix in front for your sending domains
Like:
> (try)yourdomain.com
> go
> your
> the
> now
>.co
When you buy the domains, you also want to add the option of Google Workspace
Don't try and cheap out by using something other than Google domains
Google comes ready with verification DNS records:
> SPF
> DKIM
Going to be a whole lot more hassle if you try and be a broke boi
So you've got your two domains, now what?
2) DNS Records
Don't sh*t yourself because you've got to mess around with DNS records
Do EXACTLY as i say and you'll be fine
We need to do three things within your domain settings:
> Add CNAME
> Add DMARC
> Forward to primary
Go to 'DNS' tab on your domain's settings
Go to ' Create New Custom Record'
Now you're going to add two custo records
Enter these settings:
DMARC
Host name: "_dmarc"
Type: "TXT"
TTL: 3600
Data: "v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:name@domain.com"
Obviously put YOUR domain
Now for CNAME:
The data will be subject to your sending platform, I use instantly
Host Name: " inst" (This can be anything but i use inst for instantly)
Type: CNAME
TTL: 3600
Data: prox.itrackly.com.
Forwarding
You need to forward your domain
When people get emails from your sending domain and type in the URL, they need to be redirected to your primary domain
Go to 'Website' Tab
Input the domain you want to forward to
Then Click on 'Advanced Options'
Check these options:
> Permanent Redirect
> Forward Path
> SSL on
Press 'Forward'
Congrats, you've now setup all the DNS side

3) Warmup of Domains
It’s crucial you put your domains on warm up and leave them on FOREVER
Google needs to believe your account is a real account
So “warming up” your emails just sends dummy emails between other inboxes to trick Google
4) Create ICP
This is an Ideal Client Profile
You need to create an ICP before you begin any campaign
It is CRUCIAL
You need to know who you’re talking to
So you can write your copy well and make sure your offer lines up with the right target audience
How do you do this?
Identify the following:
> Job Title
> Company Size
> Revenue
> Industry
5) Define niche problems and pain points
If you want to learn more about researching your prospects
@leadrascal is your man
You need to understand your niche
Understand their language
Their pain points
What holds them back?
What are their goals?
Go research your niche
Go on forums and Reddit
Search for:
(NICHE pain points)
(NICHE problems)
Or even pay someone for a call to understand more about their industry
These will scrape leads from LinkedIn and all the data points
They’re great tools
Get one of these tools and export it as a CSV
what’s next?
VERIFY THEM
Leads get out of date
People retire, people change industries, businesses fail
So they become old
You need to clean your leads and make sure they’re not bouncing
If your emails start bouncing then it’s going to ruin your domain’s deliverability and do EVERY step again
It’ll be a pain in the ass
Just do as I say
7) Write first lines
You’ve got two options here
> personalised first lines
> segmented personalised lines
Personalised first lines are a lot more tailored yet take a lot longer and drive into your costs
Or there is another option
You can use SEGMENTED personalised lines
Find a common line between your target audience and then run with that
Find something that looks personalised enough to send to all of them
Will save you TONS of time
8) Begin Outreach
Time to launch campaigns
Here’s the schedule to use to ramp up:
Week 1: 5 emails a day
Week 2: 10 emails a day
Week 3: 20 emails a day
Week 4: 40 a day
NO HIGHER THAN THIS OR IT’LL BURN
Run your campaigns and wait
Do not change things too soon
And don’t get frustrated and quit if you’re not seeing results immediately
There’s such a thing as VARIANCE
Wtf do I mean?
Imagine person A and person B
They’ve both got EXACTLY the same script and landing page etc
A could send 100 emails and get 10 replies
B could send the SAME amount of emails and get 0 replies
It’s all just a random spectrum of variance
Don’t get demotivated
9) Test EVERYTHING
Cold email is a science
A lot of you want to send 100 emails and cry it doesn’t work
It does work
You’re just an impatient fck who can’t wait for results
You need a bigger sample size
100 emails isn’t going to do anything
You need a bigger sample size to understand what’s working
How do you do this?
Write down your scripts and review monthly what’s working
Lean into what’s working and disregard what’s not

10) Get on Sales Call
Once you’ve booked a meeting, you want to get on a sales call
You’re probably going to be nervous but it’s fine
You’re learning and growing
Lean into discomfort
Hop on a zoom call with them
Face to face builds trust

11) Send Invoice and Contract
If the call goes well, send over the invoice and contract
DO NOT WORK FOR FREE
You can work on a performance offer
But if you’re running cold Email campaigns you want a setup fee at least
Don’t offer to work for free
Broke clients will abuse you
Only broke clients want free stuff
Now go put this into action
If you can’t launch a campaign following this thread you literally have no hope
