RESEARCH METHODOLOGY PT 1
I found out that most newbies have difficulties in making proper research or even knowing where/ what exactly to look out for when making a research on a token
That's why I decided to write a thread on research methodology
A thread 🧡...
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY🌟
Methodology is the study of research methods. However, the phrase can also refer to the methods themselves or to the theoretical discussion of associated background boldness. A method is an organize line of action for conducting about a certain goal.
METHODOLOGICAL APPROACH. Methodology is an general plan, procedure that is execute to do research and entire research is contingent on upon the methodology of research. (Cresswell, 2003). As a methodological approach I used qualitative approach in this research.
In this thread, I’d be telling you how to Carry out Your Top down Analysis before investing into a Project. Spotlight of all you’d need to look out for when carrying out your Research/Fundamental Analysis on a Project. I would be talking about just three procedures here πŸ‘‡πŸΎ
πŸ‘‰πŸΎTokenomics of The Token.
πŸ‘‰πŸΎThe Usecase of the Token.
πŸ‘‰πŸΎ The Roadmap of the Project. ETC
Walk with me πŸŒοΈπŸ„
1. Tokenomics of the Token
Not to confuse anyone, Tokenomics simply means token-economics
Tokenomics are actually coined from the two paired words TOKEN & ECONOMICS.
Tokenomics basically points to the economics of a crypto token and it refers to all the qualities of a crypto toke
Tokenomics is simply the quality of a token that creates demand for that token from investors. Tokenomics will help you understand the purpose, functionality, uses cases and distribution of a particular token.
Tokenomics is an across-the-board for elements that makes a particular cryptocurrency valuable and interesting to investors. That include everything from a token supply and how it's issued to things like what utilities it has.
The Tokenomics of a Token includes :
A) Market Cap
B) Total Supply.
C) Circulating Supply.
D) Current Price
E) Total Value Locked (TVL).
F) 24hr Volume Trade.
G)All Time high, All time low.
Would have loved to explain them detailedly but nobody would want a 99+ thread
🎯 Market Cap; this is basically the amount investors has in a particular token. This is the collective amount of funds different investors has in a particular token.
🎯 Total supply; simply put this is the total amount of token that was produced by the developers of a token.
🎯 Circulating Supply; This is know as the total amount of coins in circulation. Most times, some developers after creating a token, they get to lock some of the Token for the benefits of the token.
🎯 Current Price; This is quite self explanatory and it's literal. This is the current price at which a token is at the particular time you got to know about it
🎯 Total Value Locked (TVL); TVL is the amount of token that is staked. When coins are staked, it tends to reduce the amount of token in circulation hence, locking up tokens - improve the price of the token drastically
Staking; This is basically locking an amount of token in a pool to yield more profit from the token.
One research analytic tool I'd love to recommend for you Is Defillama.com
Now this is used to check the in flow of money and how to strategically position yourself
🎯 24hr Volume Trade; this is the amount of money being traded on that token within 24hrs
🎯 All Time high, All time low; This is also pretty much self explanatory. ATH is known as the all time high a token has gotten too while ATL is also the lowest point a token has gotten to.
That's a wrap 🀞
Thanks for coming this far
Y'all are probably wondering about the other two Methods I mentioned right 🌝
Would be dropping the PT || soon ✨;)
