8 HABITS TO TRANSITION FROM A THINKING PERSON TO AN ACTION-TAKER TYPE OF INDIVIDUAL...
1/ Take your goal serious.
People who take their goals serious are more likely to take action and actually try every way to reach their vision.
2/ Rely on self-discipline, don't wait to be motivated to take action.
Whenever motivation is in a lacking state, you should rely on self-discipline for genuinely doing something productive.
3/ Remove cheap dopaminergic activities from your life.
Preserve your "goal pursuit" molecule (dopamine) for moments where you are working towards making your dreams a reality.
For example, don't waste it scrolling on social media.
4/ Practice doing meditation to clear your mind and prevent it from overthinking.
Meditation is the best tool to start your day with a fresh and clear mind.
Overthinking is the most common reason for unproductiveness. Meditation fixes it.
5/ Implement the "Go for it, I'll figure it out later" mentality.
The path gets clearer the more you walk. Jump in and then you will figure it out, but first, believe that you can.
6/ Build a schedule to increase productiveness.
A to-do list or a schedule that reminds you of the productive work that you have to get done impacts the probability of you actually completing that task.
If you don't have a schedule, you are doing it wrong.
7/ Avoid getting caught in the analysis paralysis loop by taking at least one step a day.
Taking baby steps is the cure to stepping outside the analysis paralysis loop. Also, to avoid getting caught inside as well.
8/ Review your routine.
Reviewing your routine at least once every 3-6 months helps to see a minimum of results and to have an idea on the way you are headed.
Sometimes, you have to change paths before it gets too late.
