What's going on in Iran isn't about the hijab
It's about the fact that Persian nationalists have an inferiority complex about being conquered by Islam 1400 years ago
Being mad over something 1000 years ago sounds weird to us, but it's Iran's reality

First we must understand how did Persians obtain this inferiority complex
It originated in the late 19th - early 20th century when Russia and Britain colonized Qajar Iran, introduced nationalism, and installed their puppet Reza Khan (the 1st of the Pahlavi dynasty)
It should be noted Reza Khan was not royalty, he was just some random commoner the British picked off the street to be a good puppet
He made up the name "Pahlavi" (the name of language of the pre-Islamic Sassanid empire) to assist the British in secularizing Iran away from Islam
So for several generations, Iranians were brainwashed in schools by the Pahlavi dynasty with beliefs like how:
"before Islam the ancient Persians had spaceships, but the Arabs destroyed all these spaceships and any evidence of it too"
Imagine it from the POV of an Iranian nationalist, they have been brainwashed to believe they are some kind of "Aryan master race"
Then they look across the gulf, and see the Arabs building skyscrapers, the same Arabs that easily defeated them 1400 years ago
It should be noted that "Arab" is used interchangeably with Islam, same way Hindu nationalists use "Pakistan/Islam" interchangeably, or Greeks use "Turks/Islam"
It's about them being upset at Islam conquering them, and a race that symbolizes it
Persian nationalists also have an unhealthy obsession with Europe
This is because, just like how Hindu nationalists simp over Israel due to their hate of Islam (cause of being conquered by the Mughal Empire)
Persian nationalists view Europeans as a "common ally against Islam"
So it's not about the "hijab" or being forced to wear clothes
It's about what the hijab symbolizes:
>the fact that they were humiliated by Arabs 1400 years ago
>that they aren't an "Aryan master race"
>that the world does not revolve around them
>that they never had spaceships
Think about it this way:
Had the Europeans invented hijabs, and Islam invented dressing half naked
then these Persian nationalists would be protesting against dressing naked, and would all voluntarily wear hijabs/dress modestly
These "protests" are nothing more than the leftovers of 19th century European colonialism
They are inherently anti-Islam protests, and never succeed cause their whole belief system need to rely on lies & fake history
You can't build a civilization off coping n'seething
