Chup an ode to Indian cinema & particularly the legend Guru Dutt.
An intelligent & unique film but the execution could have been better specially the screenplay & the abrupt climax given the demand of the genre.

The film to its credit is subtle in its storytelling & message, the Kaagaz Ke Phool refrence and the music hits home but the story lacked the nuances & the thrill to keep you invested as a viewer with the case in hand which you generally except from murder mystery thrillers. 2/4
