5 psychological dark secrets I wish I knew earlier to avoid manipulators:
Manipulators have found many ways to manipulate you—and get an "unfair" advantage.
It's an unethical way of living life and being a selfish idiot.
They can also affect your mental health.
Here we'll discuss some tactics so you can save yourself from manipulators:
1) They give out little favor and expect huge from you:
They can be your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, etc.
First, they'll reach out to you and will give you a favor—without even asking.
After some time they'll ask a big favor from you and if you deny them.
They'll make you feel stressed.
Avoid these people at all costs and don't let them cross the boundaries.
You shouldn't pay attention to their tactics at all.
Your mental health is—above everything.
Don't let somebody make you feel helpless.
2) Imposter syndrome:
This happened to me a few days ago in the library.
One of my fellow students asked a few tough questions—from my academic syllabus.
He was asking questions from a particular chapter and I couldn't answer them.
I came back to my seat and started losing confidence.
Then I believed there were—3 reasons he was manipulating me.
1) He had revised that chapter right before asking me.
2) The questions were on memory, with no concepts.
3) He didn't give options.
Without options, it was tough to answer the question—on the mercy of my memory.
When I revised the chapter my memory got recalled.
A lesson in there:
Don't lose your confidence.
Most people air their dirty laundry without special reason.
3) They try to know about your personal life:
They are strangers who want to get more friendly.
They ask about your private life so they can use it against you—in the future.
Be mindful, they aren't your friends.
They're here to get confidential information about you.
4) They don't keep your secrets:
They can be your friends and even your family members.
They air out your secrets behind your back and—don't even accept that they revealed them.
And they'll make you feel like sh*t because you called them guilty.
5) They blame you for everything:
They can be a team member, boss, or partner.
They don't admit their mistake and take accountability.
But dish out the blame on you.
It's better to keep—your distance from them.
Or their artillery will always be ready to target you.
These were a few kinds of manipulators that you should avoid in your life at all costs.
Or they'll spoil your inner peace and leave you like a lazy, purposeless man.
Don't let someone change your smile.
Be mindful and learn to recognize manipulators.
TL; DR.
• They give little favor
• Imposter syndrome
• They try to know about your personal life
• They don't keep secrets
• They blame you for everything
