Guilty until proven innocent.
You could be included in a database simply because you were near a crime scene. Notifying you is not even required.
This violates the Fourth Amendment’s protections against unreasonable searches by mass flagging data of innocent bystanders.

Data is forever.
Google stores troves of users’ location data in a database called Sensorvault. Google still collects location data even if you change your settings to "pause location".

Geofence warrants are one of the most common requests for information from Google to Law enforcement.
Many of the January 6th protestors were arrested due to their information being revealed in Geofence warrants.

Users can also be tracked through their YouTube activity and location settings. To prevent this, you can watch YouTube videos through NewPipe (mobile) or FreeTube (desktop/laptop).
