7 traits every valuable man has (and how you can incorporate them).
A thread:
1. Assertiveness
Be direct.
Don't beat around the bush.
Communicate what you want, how you want.
The key here is to think about what you need to say before you say it.
Define your goals of your speech or actions and make the most efficient delivery to complete them.
For example:
If you're trying to invite a woman back to your place, realize the goal, then realize the best way to do it is in a flirtatious manner while still getting your point across CLEARLY.
Assertiveness takes lots and lots of practice but can be learned over time.
2. Quickness
Every valuable man is quick with their actions, yet still hold quality in what they do.
When you have an objective, put away all distractions and work 110% on that goal.
Simple.
3. Self-respect
You NEED to have respect for yourself.
STOP watching porn
STOP sleeping in late, etc.
You need to take yourself seriously.
Another point I'll add is that you have to have a reliable word.
NEVER say something if you can't get it done.
If you speak it, it happens.
Over time, your self-respect will skyrocket if you prove to yourself that you can make it happen.
4. Discipline
Make sure you are doing the thing that make you better ALL THE TIME.
Not just when you're motivated.
Build the habit of going to the gym daily, of working on your craft, etc.
Build habits, and you'll never need to be motivated again.
With discipline, you need to start small, then work your way up.
Build a habit by first going to the gym consistently, for example, then adding on to it.
If you allow discipline into your life, you cannot lose.
5. Confidence
Be confident in who you are.
This one is hard to do without other qualities on this list.
Implement all 7 qualities and you will be a confident man.
As a side note, if you need to work on more surface-level confidence, I recommend using body language:
-Shoulders back
-Eyes straight ahead
-Don't cross your arms and maintain open body language
These help for short interactions but can only help so much.
6. Ability to create value
Give value into the world and you will be seen as a valuable man.
Easy.
You don't have to be a doctor (unless you want to be) but build a business or side hustle that revolves around giving people VALUE.
For people in their teenage years or early 20's, some easy online skills that you can learn that provide value are:
-affiliate marketing
-copywriting
-write and sell your own ebooks/courses
-and so much more
Start creating value into the world and your life will change.
7. Self-control
Stop getting emotional, even during tough times.
It is okay to feel sad, angry, whatever. But you must maintain your frame and have control over yourself.
How you feel should not change the things that get done in the day.
Never lash out and always be calm, cool, and collected.
Self-control goes hand-in-hand with discipline.
Start by having discipline, then start to work on this.
That's a wrap!
