The end of 2022 is fast approaching
The question is...will YouTube be paying you before it's over?
Today, I'll show you a case study you can copy to build a $5k/mo YouTube channel
One that you can get up and running by year's end!
Let's dive in!
Our example channel is Saving Savers
In just 8 months, it's racked up over 5k subscribers and 500,000 views!
Not to mention, it's achieved monthly views of over 100,000!
But, the key is that it is generating a full-time income already
Here are the 5 steps it took to do it
Step 1: Select a viable niche
Saving Savers chose the frugal niche
The frugality niche offers:
- Higher viewer interest as people try and save during a recession
- High ad rates (CPM)
This is what led to fast growth and the ability to make generate 4-figures a month:
Step 2: Create a content plan
Saving Savers wanted to upload as frequently as possible as you can see below
The more videos produced, the greater the chance of going viral
Your plan should include:
- Desired video quality
- Video upload frequency
- Upload days and time
Step 3: Generate profitable video ideas
Not all videos on YouTube are created equal
Good ideas stand out
How do you know which ideas to use?
Instead of racking your brain, you can just see what's worked in the past...
As the saying goes, "No need to re-invent the wheel"
Step 4: Select a monetization method
There are a ton of ways to monetize
Saving Savers chose affiliate marketing
100,000 monthly views x 1% conversion x $10 commission
That's $10k a month
You can build a channel to half that size by year's end
That's $5,000 of extra income
Step 5: Outsource
Let's face it, not everyone has endless hours to spend making content
That's okay!
Fortunately, it's never been easier to outsource content creation
How do you do this?
Read on…
First, identify all the activities that go into making a video:
- Research
- Scripting
- Voiceover
- Editing
- Uploading etc.
Then, post a job on Upwork or Fiverr and hire as you see fit.
Here's an example of a job posting I've used in the past:
