Marc Casado is among my favourite academy players.
He's a mini version of Busquets & has the traits to (almost) mimic the role perfectly.
But considering Barça are thin in the backline, we may see him there too. Fortunately, his profile is diverse enough to cover it.

Considering his understanding of the game and impeccable technical profile, he'd be a good CB or an inverted RB.
However, he doesn't have the engine to thrust forward as much as someone like Kounde or a natural wide defender.
His recovery pace is decent but again, not superb.

I doubt he gets a start ahead of the first team CBs so could be played in a RB-cum-pivot role when in possession.
That way we could have a make-shift double pivot just like we did before at times.
But still, best we can hope for is a cameo, I'd say.
Little by little, though.

So a clarification as I've worded it weirdly, it seems.
Casado isn't necessarily a Busquets copy but rather, his profile suits the Barça pivot needs.
So not exactly a mini Busi in a sense he'll mimic him but he's a young (mini) pivot who could fill the Busquets slot.
