Depends on what day the setup happens. I normally prefer the current week’s puts or calls (if the setup happens on mon-tues), but last week the setup happened on Friday. So i had to pick the following week (this week)’s expiration. Hence my tweet “hammering next week’s puts”.
But sometimes , if I can’t get easy fills (not enough volume on the options) or if the setup is orgasmic, i’ll do both the current week AND the week(s) after that. #ThufriRule #BearTipOfTheDay
