This is a honest possible adaptation of the Kalki Krishnamurthy epic focusing more on the story & politics but had the movie been made in V volumes with more layered portrayal & character arc this would have been an outright MASTERPIECE, nevertheless still a brilliant watch. 2/3
The casting and performances are brilliant so does the music by AR Rahman but the star of show is Aishwarya as Nandhini no one portrays Aish more beautiful and elegant as Mani Ratnam.
Overall i loved PS-1 and can't wait for PS-2. Hope it gets bigger and better.
