One thing that I want you guys to know is that Nizam's forces were heavily outnumbered by that of the Peshwa's
Marฤtha forces - 127,665
Mughal forces - 89,000
Nizam's forces included 2000 female gardnees (for protection of harem, not for fighting).

The only thing Marathas gained in the battle of Kharda was the territories.

Nizam + Nana combination defeated the forces of Raghunathrao and established Peshwa Baji Rao II on Peshwahi.
Baji Rao II objected to the treaty but he was helpless as Nana Fadnavis had already returned the territories, he could only stop the remittance of Berar chouth.

Just in time duration less than one year, Nizam succeeded in recovering his entire territory ceded to Marathas at Kharda while also escaping to pay the war compensations which amounted some crores what he had promised.
