13 days into fatherhood and I’ve actually slept through the night 6 hours minimum for the last week.
Also managed 3 bike rides and 3 gym sessions.
Mama is doing a great job. I help when I’m not working and spend quality time with baby for a few hours a day.

And you know what?
It feels right.
There’s only so much I can do. I am not the food supply.
There is zero sense in me being sleep deprived and my work (which provides for all of us) suffers.
I feel bad for the fathers who have to get up 3x a night for months on end.

It’s weird that society always promotes this:
“Good husbands bring the baby to mom in bed so she doesn’t have to get up!”
What’s better:
1. Dad gets full night of rest and is at his best every day
2. Mom stands up and picks up baby when she is waking up already
