Lack focus?
I used to lack focus…
Now I can dive into hours of work and focus
Here’s what I changed:
Focus is the starting point for every thought, therefore being crucial in your repertoire:
• Making decisions
• Resolving issues
• Observation
• Analysis
• Education
• Recall
All facets of your capacity to think will suffer if you lack adequate attention.
• Maintain a work-life balance
Don't sacrifice your personal life for your professional life.
Make time for yourself to improve your performance and happiness!
• Increase mental fortitude
In strength training, you don't quit because you're fatigued; instead, you push yourself.
Do the same with frustrating tasks: give it five more minutes of your undivided attention before putting it aside.
• Improve your surroundings
Make your surroundings work for you.
Put on your headphones and do whatever helps you focus and relax.
Lo-fi always works for me :)
• Leave a message for yourself
Keep a note in plain sight to remind yourself to stay focused.
It will assist you in convincing yourself that "now is not the time to check messages." I'll get to it later."
• Time-Saving Tasks
Divide work into reasonable time periods.
Give yourself two 30-minute sessions to work on anything, with a 30-minute rest in between.
• Thou shall not be disturbed!
- Switch off your phone.
- Disable your email.
- Disable your messaging service.
- Hang a 'do not disturb' sign on the door.
Allow yourself to concentrate without being distracted.
• Be accountable
Take care of your finances, tasks, relationships, and vehicle, among other things.
Address issues and develop a plan of action as quickly as feasible.
• Increase your water consumption.
Dehydration causes fatigue, irritability, slowness, and sickness.
If your brain doesn't have enough fluid, it won't be able to work at its best, and you'll struggle to stay concentrated.
Keep hydrated.
• Develop a thorough daily schedule.
Make a list of chores and tasks you wish to perform at the start of each day.
Commit to the list and complete it by the end of the day.
That's a wrap!
