PCA showing the Genetic Variation of the modern Indo-Iranian peoples, on my new blogpost.
We can see where different Indo-Iranian groups cluster based on their ancestry.
vritrahan.blogspot.com
Most Indian UCs cluster together: Rajputs from Rajasthan, Bengali Brahmins, Tamil Brahmins, UP Brahmins, Keralite Brahmins, Nairs, all have similar DNA.
Gujarati Brahmins, Kashmiri Brahmins, Jammu and Potohari Brahmins are more West Eurasian shifted and distinct from the main UC cluster.
Next is the North West Indo-Pakistani cluster: Sikh Jatts, Hindu Jats, Rors, Kalash, Khatri, Kamboj, Pashtuns and Sindhis.
These are the most West Eurasian shifted groups in the subcontinent.
Parsis are clearly 75% Iranian + 25% West Indian, as they cluster with other West Iranians.
Iranians from Bandar are the most Indian shifted, since they come from the coasts that had lot of contacts with other nations. They also have around 3% African ancestry. In Persian, Bandar literally means "closed gate, or a port" (Bandhadvar in Sanskrit)
Indo-Iranians sorted by Iranian Farmer ancestry. We can see West Iranians score the highest on this.
Indo-Iranians sorted by Indus Valley ancestry, we can see how lot of South and North Indians score the highest.
Indo-Iranians sorted by Steppe MLBA ancestry, we can see how Tajiks, Jat Hindus and Rors score the highest on it.
