Aesop's Taxonomy of Design is excellent luxury content marketing
They showcase every material used in each of their retail stores--textiles, stone, hardware.
I've used it professionally for interiors + point of sale & personally for our home
Amazing branding for craftsmanship.
I like initiatives like this that are a little off from the regular brand, but probably something that the designers are archiving and doing anyway when executing high end retail at this scale.
Why not turn it into a showcase/resource?
We've knocked off combinations from here using cheaper materials... a lot.
Designers who put together these combos are the best of the best. Happy to lean on their strategies with more reasonable materials.
Aesop one of the few luxury brands thats crossed super far into ubiquity to the point of close to kitsch I still love and support.
Brand is truly excellent.
