Libertarianism can't deal power that doesn't trip its "NAP".
In the 18th century and before, a very good heuristic for whether an action was hostile was whether it was violent.
By the latter 20th century, most hostile action was not violent. NAP is useless.
Spreading strategic untruths to cause people to make decisions that are actually against their own interests is a great way of attacking. It's much harder for our social immune systems to pick up.
There's a lot more of this kind of thing than we realize. In fact, it's ubiquitous: almost everything you see in any media is at least somewhat optimized to harm you in order to enrich someone who has control over the message.
