I'm happy to share that I have begun grad school at the prestigious @UniofNottingham as a 2022/23 Commonwealth Shared Scholar to study Biotechnology @UoNBiosciences.
I hope to inspire someone out there that: truly, your dreams are valid

Oh well, not to sound cliche though, but the journey was truly a rollercoaster one.
I remember in 2020 when I joined Twitter and then I graduated late 2020 amidst the pandemic.
Shortly after my graduation, I applied for the Mastercard Scholarship - obviously I didn't get it 😭

Tho my first scholarship attempt, I still felt bad.
I applied to UBC and AUB and just at the last stage of the application, I was denied.
I decided to go for my NYSC in 2021. Gracefully, I learnt a lot silently from this space and shot intentionally at opportunities again 🙂;

Yeah, so for some reasons (probably funding) the Mastercard at UBC and AUB were not available again.
Thankfully, I learnt about other competitive scholarships that could offer me a world class edducation. The commonwealth, Chevening, Erasmus and PhD positions at the US:

The Commonwealth, Chevening, Erasmus and PhD offers at the US were the major opportunities I applied to.
Today, I'm happy to share that I won the commonwealth scholarship and a PhD offer (deferred strategically till after my current program).

Many thanks to those on this street who have in one way or the other shaped my thought process, made some of these opportunities visible with tips and hacks of putting forward competitive applications.
