My first client paid me $800 for ONE month.
My last client paid me $10,000 for ONE month.
It’s been the hardest journey I’ve been on, but it’s also been the most rewarding.
Here’s what you need to know about building an online business:
This thread isn’t going to be the typical one I do.
I’m not leaving you with “10 steps on how to do XYZ”
No cheat sheet.
No shortcuts.
Just my genuine advice on how to change your entire life based on my personal experiences.
A few years ago I became infatuated with the idea of making money online.
I would see screenshots like the one above.
Ordinary people making my yearly salary in a month.
I remember vividly asking myself how someone could make that much.
It felt like a pipe dream for me.
But I kept pushing, for years and years.
And now I find myself staring at emails with numbers I thought were impossible.
So how did it come to this point?
Here are my honest 2 cents on succeeding in business:
You need self-belief.
Most people reading this have none, and that’s fine.
But you need a bulletproof mindset.
Without it, business is HARD.
The number of times it looked like nothing was going to work for me is wild.
From being scammed.
To messing up accounting & taxes.
To losing loved ones.
Hit after hit after hit.
But the one thing that kept me going was self-belief.
Stupid amounts of internal confidence that I could pull it off.
Whatever you’re going through right now, just trust you’re going to make it.
Make sure your daily actions correlate to that belief.
Because once your habit and routines are aligned with your beliefs,
There’s no way you won’t succeed.
P.s. If you’re curious…
Here’s some context about the screenshot:
My partner and I took on a coaching client.
We’re working with them for 6 months.
Payment terms were 3x $20k payments.
Last $20k to be delivered when they’ve made a profit totaling $40k.
I can charge this much because I’ve put everything into this business since 2016.
And I share everything I've learned (and still learning) on my Twitter.
