أتى أنه في يوم الاثنين دائماً
يخفف عنه بالسرور بأحمدا
ما الظن بالعبد الذي كان عمره

“if a kafir who is condemned to Hell in the Qur'ān receives reduction in his punishment every Monday due to his excitement on his birth, then what do you think of a Servant who is happy over his birth and died as a monotheist”!?.
This particular incident is common knowledge to whoever goes to Maulid. But it is odd to those who don't. This is because they are starved of stories that show the magnitude of the Rasul.
The fact that freeing a slave was what Abu Lahab did on the Maulid to earn himself this reward also stands to show that it is NOT ONLY FASTING that one can do in order to mark the Honored birth, as some people claim.
