Do you read the scientific papers, including the methodology sections, of these anti-trans opinions? Or do your read the polemicists who frame them for political purposes?

@Boisey31 the reality is that it's very difficult to read scientific papers. most people have little training in it, and even less training in the specific fields these papers address. there is good reason to trust emerging consensus when one lacks any real expertise in things

@Boisey31 in reality, this is not about children, but trans people as an entire group. if conservatives could banish all transpeople with a magic wand, they would. if they could ban surgeries after 18, they would. they see this as a mental illness, which you can see from their mocking.
