1. Overview
Once you open DEX Screener's website, you will see a screen like this.
This main page gives you an overview of the active token pairs in the market, plus their prices, volume, liquidity, FDV, and price changes.
You can also filter the chart by time range.

2. New Pairs
Here is where you will find the newly added pairs. You'll use the "Rank & Filter" to set your filters.
Then, choose your chains, or leave them on All platforms. You can fill up the following details to proceed.

Apart from using the filters, you can find new gems on the "New Pairs" page by looking at the age of the pairs.
Most of these new pairs have not been listed on CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko yet, so it's a good place to discover hidden gems.

Also, don't just jump on tokens here. It would be best if you still researched more on the tokens.
Pro Tip: It's better to use the token's address than the name when searching for tokens on DEX Screener so that you won't fall for scams.

3. Price Alerts
Once you choose your preferred token, you can add them to your watchlist or set price alerts on a browser or Telegram.
This lets you get real-time updates on price changes and adjustments.

4. Track Token Whales
You can use DEX Scanner to track whale wallets. Click on your choice pairs, navigate to the transactions tab, and click on the USD filter.
Set a minimum amount. I usually choose 12k and apply the filter. You'll see all whale transactions & their details.

You'll find all the top gainers and losers within the last 5 minutes to 24 hours.
More Importantly, don't assume a project is profitable because it's gaining. Look at the liquidity, txns, buys, sells, FDV, and volume for more insights.

Examine new tokens correctly so you don't fall victim to wash trading. Fundamental plays a key role here.
Most scammers pump new tokens, only to dump them afterwards. Don't let the excessive taste to 1000X in a few minutes open you to exploitation.
