I think this is exaggerated, because in India the phenotypical difference can be striking but the genetic distance even between the most Northern castes vs the Southermost castes is really not that different from a Finnish vs Sardinian or Swedish vs Sicilian.

Even the Kalash, the most isolated Northern group from Pakistan are about as distant to Keralite mid castes as Scandinavians are from Sicilians

Even Kashmiri Brahmins aren't as far from 'Untouchable' Chamars. One can do FST distance too, accounting for drift, it won't be as drastic as x3-4 times.
I think it's just that skin color difference can be *a lot* in India, and such a difference is very striking phenotypically, so the genotypical difference looks exaggerated too. These two women are probably not v different genetically from a Russian vs Spaniard.
