If I could go back in time and teach my teenage self 10 lessons, here’s what I would say:
1. Make good friends, not more friends.
Friendship is about quality, not quantity
Having 1 loyal friend is better than having 20 fake friends

2. Stop comparing yourself.
If you always compare yourself to others, you will never find out who you are
Everyone goes at different speeds in life
It’s ok if you don’t have everything figured out yet

3. Learn from other people’s mistakes.
By reading books you can learn so much
What might have taken the author 30 years to learn, you can learn in a couple of hours from reading
Then you’ll be 30 years ahead

4. START NOW.
Whatever you want to do in life, do not wait to do it
This is your only life
It’s too short to keep putting off what you want to do

5. Be selfish.
Too many people are doing things they don’t want to do
Why?
To please other people.
You have 1 life - you need to be selfish and do what you want to do

6. Workout
Getting exercise is not only good for the body, but also the brain
Working out daily can help anxiety and depression more than anything
Don’t believe me?
Try it for yourself

7. Not everyone wants you to win.
Learn to recognise the people that want the best for you
Keep them in your life, kick the others out

8. Risk is a part of life.
You’re going to need to take risks to get what you want
That’s ok, embrace the risk
Nothing great ever came from comfort zones

9. Challenge your beliefs.
Why do you believe something? Did your parents tell you? Did the news tell you?
Challenge your beliefs, be willing to listen to other opinions and always be ready to learn

10. Failure is not final.
A failure is the greatest lesson ever
It will teach you what doesn’t work and make you wise
Remember:
The winner has failed more times than the loser has even tried
