My startup made $1M before we spent $1 on ads.
Steal our $0 marketing plan:
1/ Form partnerships
We set up partnerships with business coaches in our niche.
They already built trust with our target customers.
We were able to borrow it.
They gave them a % of recurring revenue for each client sold.
2/ Help creators
We made a list of small YouTubers that our customers like.
We offered to improve their web presence if they linked to us in their show notes.
3/ Contribute to Facebook groups
We joined the two biggest Facebook Groups in our niche.
Once inside, we:
1. Shared tips
2. Answered questions
3. Friended the members
4. Asked if they needed any help
4/ Consistent cold outreach
Each day I audited the websites of 20 prospective customers.
If something was not working properly, I'd tell them.
This triggered reciprocity.
5/ Ask for referrals
After a customer gets their first lead from our platform, we call and ask if they like our service.
This helps us:
1. Generate referrals
2. Get feedback
6/ Do podcasts & guest posts
My co-founders & I had experience in our niche.
We messaged everyone we knew w/ a podcast or blog.
If we got a guest slot, we delivered as much value as could.
A little preparation goes a long way.
