I successfully completed the Datacamp Data scientist associate and professional certification and I thought to share a few tips I took that helped me prepare, so if you intend on starting the Datacamp certification process,β¦

Before taking the certification process, I made sure to have completed these courses on the Datacamp platform;
Data scientist with Python
SQL Fundamentals
Data communication concepts

After completing these courses, I took the following assessments as many times as possible.
These assessments served as a guide and helped me prepare for the main exam, it also helped me in getting accustomed to the timing as well.

For the case study, I went through the competitions tab of the Datacamp platform and looked through winning notebooks. It gave me a direction on how to structure my case study and the process to take.
I also followed the grading rubric and made sure my notebook satisfied all the requirements in it.
Note that this is based off of my personal experience and itβs for the Data scientist certification part, it could work for the Data analyst certification path as wellβ¦

Also, I took the python route, if you are a R person just replace with R.
