@bhoomiputraa @RohitRa70524231 I have a different perspective. It’s not purely utilitarian. It’s tempting to frame hereditary continuity in terms of power & familial self-preservation. But it is much more than that.
An example of that:
@bhoomiputraa @RohitRa70524231 I must clarify that this is not restricted to any one Varṇa/Jāti. Every ritual specialist group has a unique mythos & magic-ness, which is innate to that group. You may want to see this as well. Groups & lineages have their ritual value:
@bhoomiputraa @RohitRa70524231 I do think some sort of access can be expanded for apt individuals from outsider groups but:
1. It can’t be brought upon by public discourse revolving around the socio-political value of such expansion because such a change would be profane, too deliberate & inorganic.
@bhoomiputraa @RohitRa70524231 2. It has to be a slow, incremental process. And even then, the expanded access should ideally be more focused on teaching rather than intrude into the realm of “praxis”, which is more sensitive to such changes.
