My team has the power to overrule me on certain things.
This is so much different than most typical outsourcing countries that most of you have no idea what you’re missing by going the cheaper route.

Simply put, most traditional outsourcing countries produce button mashers.
You want someone to do the same mindless task over and over — by all means.
But when you need them to take RESPONSIBILITY…good luck with that.

And that’s a combination of:
- Culture
- Long history of offshoring (big American corps have been in India and Phillipenes for decades and they want people who follow the book)

EVERYONE has had their infuriating interaction with a customer service rep from an overseas hub.
Where they repeat what their employee handbook says until you make them get you someone domestically.
It’s no good.
