The Monghyr copper-plateI inscription states that Gaudeshwar Devapala's conquests advances south to the Vindhyas and west to the border of Kamboja country i.e. Afghanistan. 2/n
📜 The Badal-Pillar inscription records of Narayanapala, a descendant of Jayapala, state that - * When the Pala General Jayapala advanced in conquest of Utkala (Orissa), the frightened king of Utkal abandoned his capital helplessly on hearing his name from afar. 3/n
* The king of Pragjyotisha (Assam) immediately surrendered to the Pala Emperor without fighting on the orders of Jayapala, the general of the Pala Empire. 4/n
📜 Inscriptions of Kedaramishra's son Guravamishra state that under minister Darvapani's policy, Devapala was able to subdue the Himalayas to the Vindhyas and the entire region between the eastern and western seas [from Bangopasagar to Arabasagar] and make it feudal kingdom. 5/n
This inscription further states that by worshiping the wisdom of the minister Kedaramishra, Gaudesvara Devapaldeva uprooted the race of Utkalas, destroyed pride of Hunas, shook the countries of Dravidas and Pratiharas and enjoyed the oceanic world for a lingering period. 6/n
