The MMWR Week 41 Update is in.
We begin by reviewing Non-Natural Deaths. The CDC appears to be working these figures again as the severe drop off (which I did not believe) has dissipated.
Back to a standard 21 wk lag exclusion. We sit at an average of 987 excess deaths per wk.
Influenza & Pneumonia Mortality has begun to creep back up commensurate w/ seasonality. We will see how this winter trends - that dynamic will be interesting to see.
Notice the non-flu artifact in 2019. Gee I wonder what virus we've seen has an April peak?
That's a puzzler...🤔
Now, let's continue with the critical flow of the model.
36,500 (R00-R99) deaths now concealed by CDC (left chart). As we confirmed yesterday - many of these are heart-related young person deaths (chart on right).
Enough to conceal a 20-sigma run in cardiac-related mortality.
As well, when we neutralize the MCoD Cancers being categorized as UCoD Covid-19, and bring 75% of those records back to Cancer UCoD deaths (as they ethically should be), we end up with a current Cancer Mortality at 9-sigma.
Now, when we make these adjustments to the ICD-10 code charts, all of a sudden they AGREE with the Excess Non-Covid Natural Cause Mortality chart below, which they did not do before.
...and they MUST agree, otherwise they are false.
391,000 excess deaths - 6K more than last wk.
Again, if we examine All Cause Mortality, things look misleadingly OK. This baseline should be lower, but the CDC is not adjusting for PFE. We do.
14.4% Excess Non-Covid Natural Cause Mortality is a big deal.
...and it has not dropped. If it drops, I will make that clear.
Finally, our revised Tevye Chart. Excess Non-Covid Natural Cause and Non-Natural Cause Mortality are anticipated to surpass Covid Mortality for the entire pandemic, by Nov 25, 2023.
