I work 6-7 hours actively every day and get done 99% of my work.
Here are the 10 actionable productivity tips I follow every day without burning myself out:
[1] Pomodoro Technique
I divide my working hours into 50:10 ratio (50 mins of work, 10 mins of break)
Usually, itโ€™s 25 mins of work and 5 mins of break.
Customise it as you like.
P.S.: I use @forestapp_cc to stay focused.
[2] Daily Highlight
Do the most important thing first and not-so-high priority tasks later.
90% of your day feels productive when you tick off the most important task of the day.
Get sorted with @clickup and keep track of your daily activities.
[3] Use calendar
Always book slots in your calendar to stay up to date about random or important tasks.
It will help you remind less and act more.
[4] 80/20 rule
80% of your results come from 20% of the tasks.
Make sure you do those tasks first and rest later. Focus on the things that derive 80% of the results.
[5] Make a plan the night before
Always set a schedule for the next day, the night before.
It helps you streamline your day in advance and keeps you organised.
[6] Work zones
Some certain tasks require a certain time and environment.
Understand the work zones and when you are most productive doing that task.
It helps you get the most out of the situation in less time.
[7] Reduce distractions
Turn off your phone notifications when you are doing deep work.
It helps you focus more.
Tip: Keep your phone in a separate room (unless your work/business runs on it).
[8] Scheduling tools
If you are into marketing, content creation or writing, consider using scheduling apps.
It automates the majority of your daily work and systemises it.
I personally love @sosimplified (helps me schedule content and saves 90% of my time).
[9] Delegation
You cannot do everything yourself.
The sooner youโ€™ll understand this, the more productive youโ€™ll become.
Delegate all the tasks that donโ€™t require your primary focus and focus on the 2-3 tasks that ACTUALLY matter the most.
[10] Weekly Review
Always track your weekly progress from the last week.
This helps you:
- Stay motivated
- Feel productive
- Track progress
- Make changes on time
- Forecast
Thatโ€™s it.
I hope you liked it.
